ARE you failing to find love in the city? If so it may be time to try and track down a foxy playmate in the countryside.

Now you have the chance with a special Daily Echo Single in the City Nordic Walking event.

This taster session will give people the chance to get fit, have fun and meet other singletons as the group makes its way through the stunning New Forest scenery.

Husband and wife walking team Dave and Frances Stephens lead walks all around Hampshire and will be supplying equipment.

They say the event is the perfect way to meet new people and get fresh air and exercise.

The pair are offering two Single in the City routes, both starting at 11am on Saturday March 28, from Deerleap Car Park, opposite the Otter and Owl Centre near Ashurst in the New Forest.

The first walk is a circular three-and-a-halfmile route that will take about an hour and a quarter.

Alternatively there is another six-mile route which will include a stop off at the Happy Cheese at Ashurst and take about two and a half hours.

New Forest ponies, cows and all manner of birds can be seen along the trail.

Places must be booked in advance so call Frances or Dave from Nordic Walking UK on 023 8070 2489 or mobile 07595 396895 to find out more information or reserve your place.
