A TAXI driver took saucy photos of two teenagers having naked food fights in the New Forest.
David Harris, 56, said he did not know who the naked teenagers were, but claimed they had volunteered to go there and strip off while he snapped their antics for £5, £10 or £15.
Southampton Crown Court heard that police had questioned him about photos on his computer, following complaints from two other girls that he had assaulted them at a naturist camp.
Harris admitted there were some posed pictures of two girls which he had taken about three or four years earlier.
Prosecutor, Andy Houston, said Harris claimed he didn’t know who they were but they had volunteered to go the Forest, strip off and have food fights, for which he paid them £5, £10 or £15.
“He said the first time it had happened was after they had nagged him for a bag of chips.”
Police later traced the pair and the elder girl then made a series of allegations that he molested her.
Harris, pictured, a parttime referee who had officiated in junior and senior matches for about 30 years, was jailed for seven years after admitting 10 sex offences and asking for seven charges of possessing indecent photos to be considered.
Judge Peter Ralls, QC, described the abuse as “systematic” and representing a breach of trust.
Mitigating, Ryan Seneviratne said Harris had become lonely after losing his partner and had developed an “unhealthy interest”
in one of the girls.
“It began with touching and it progressed. He accepts it escalated in the seriousness of the offending.
He wanted an increased level of sexual gratification. He knows he will pay a heavy penalty for what he has done.”
Harris, of Latham Road, Fair Oak, was also placed on the sex offenders register and disqualified from working with children.
