THIRTY-six Hampshire jobs have been lost as the credit crunch continues to bite.
Latest victims are allied companies Warmroof Systems – billed as “the UK’s No 1 roof repair and loft insulation company” – and Solar Home Energy, which have main offices on the Crow Arch Lane Industrial Estate at Ringwood.
BDO Stoy Hayward of Southampton has been appointed as administrator.
Andy Beckingham of BDO Stoy Hayward said: “Regrettably, both were closed following our appointment because we didn’t have enough money to pay wages. We are in discussion with parties who may be able to pick up the pieces, but we can’t give any commitment.”
He could not say how much money the companies owed, but estimated it would be “hundreds of thousands” of pounds.
