A MAN was killed after his car came off a Hampshire road and smashed into a tree.
The driver died when his blue Ford Focus left the A33 near Micheldever, north of Winchester, at about 9.35am yesterday.
The crash happened near the junction with Church Bank Road, at West Stratton.
Police closed the road for more than three hours to investigate and clear the incident.
The victim, a 26-year-old from Reading, has not yet been named by police.

It is the second fatal crash near Winchester in a week. Lucie Attwood, 32, of Springvale Road, Kings Worthy, died on Monday after crashing into a tree on Old Stoke Road, Stoke Charity.
