A Hampshire couple have danced their way to their 60th wedding anniversary.
Bob and Norah Martin, who celebrate their diamond wedding today, will enjoy a hog-roast party with family and friends.
Until last year, the couple had continued to share their enjoyment of sequence dancing, a mix of ballroom and Latin dancing, during their retirement.
Unfortunately, they had to sacrifice the dancing last year due to Bob’s health.
Having been married at the Holy Cross church in Durley, Bob, 84, and Norah, 82, have lived in the same property in the village for 57 years.
The couple have two sons, Keith, 58, and Gary, 55, as well as four grandchildren who will all be joining around 60 other friends at Durley Memorial Hall.
Norah, who has always lived in Durley, said: “We just share and share alike in whatever we do. We’ve always been the same: if I win at bingo I give him half.”
Bob and Nora are pictured above, and right, on their wedding day.
