SEVEN people were due in court today charged with drugs offences following dawn raids across Eastleigh, Southampton and London.

Leon Burnett, aged 23 from Chiswick London has been charged with four counts of supplying a Class A drug and Tara Wilson-Gallagher, aged 18 from Tunstall Road, Southampton has been charged with five counts of supplying a Class A drug.

Both were due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning.

Richard Wood, 25 from Spring Lane, Eastleigh, has been charged with 12 counts of supplying a Class A drug and is also due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning.

Three more people have been charged and will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on April 7.

Daniel Thomas, 22, from Colburn Close, Southampton, faces nine counts of supplying class A drugs.

Ian Flanaghan, 27, from Bentley Green, Southampton, faces one charge of supplying class A drugs A 17 year old girl from Southampton one charge.

Christopher Glasspool, 21 from Violet Road, Southampton has been charged with one offence of supplying a Class A drug and is due to appear at New Forest Magistrates Court on April 16.

A 25 year old man from Fair Oak, a 22 year old man from Eastleigh and a 21 year old man from the Bournemouth area have all been arrested and are currently being questioned by detectives.

A 28 year old man from Eastleigh has who was arrested has been bailed until May 26, pending further enquiries.

The warrants were executed as part of Operation Helium, a joint initiative between the police and Eastleigh Borough Council's Community Safety Team to target offenders to disrupt the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and divert drug users away from their drugs dependency and into relevant treatment services.
