IT’S not unusual for a woman to be desperately seeking a man in uniform.

But the needs of fundraiser Sandra Hunt are a lot greater than most.

The 33-year-old needs to find men in uniform to help her charity function go with a swing – tonight.

Sandra, pictured with colleague Timmy Taylor, is holding a fundraiser for ladies at the Holiday Inn from 7pm – 1am in aid of the Friends of Westwood.

The charity helps the organisations Jigsaw and Westwood House in Southampton, both of which support children and young people with physical disabilities as well as those with learning and behavioural difficulties.

But Sandra needs men dressed in their usual attire to help serve the women drinks at the tables.

“I have been let down at the last minute and really need firemen, doctors, builders, sailors and even men in suits,” said Sandra, community worker for Jigsaw in Southampton Money raised will be used for redecorating Westwood house, as well as for new bikes, gardening equipment, and new play toys for the children.

All men interested in helping Sandra should call her on 07846 327412.
