A CYCLIST sent a pensioner crashing to the ground and then hurled abuse at a man who went to her aid.

Joshua Noke, 21, had collided with the 80-year-old on the pavement after she had come out of a shop in Southampton, a Southampton Crown Court heard.

Noke was later involved in an incident in the Red Lion pub in Bedford Place, Southampton, where he hurled abuse at a police officer after being seen putting a £10 bag of cannabis into a sock.

Noke, of Anglesea Terrace, Southampton, admitted two breaches of an Asbo and one of possessing drugs. He was jailed for four months.
