A Hampshire pensioners’ club is betting on a bright future thanks to a £400 donation. The North Baddesley Whist Club received the money from the Testway Transform Money Box Fund.
The donation will buy five new card tables for the club, replacing their old ones which were well past their best. The club has been running for 40 years and welcomes more than 40 members from across Southampton to its weekly sessions.
