A POLICE vehicle on its way to a job was involved in a four-car smash in Hampshire.
Two people were injured in the accident that took place shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be serious.
A police officer was also injured but did not need hospital treatment.
The crash happened at Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea, and the road was closed briefly but has since reopened.
