SINGER, songwriter, dancer and pin-up Alesha Dixon will make an appearance in Southampton in October, the Daily Echo can reveal.
She will take to the stage at Southampton Guildhall on October 24 to showcase her solo work, including the 2008 smash hit single The Boy Does Nothing and follow-ups Breathe Slow and Let’s Get Excited from the album The Alesha Show.
The 30-year-old pop princess first found fame with the all-female trio Mis-Teeq and went on to be crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing in December 2007, beating actor Matt di Angelo in the final.
Earlier this year, she was among a group of celebrities who raised more than £1.5m for Comic Relief by scaling Mount Kilimanjaro.
Alesha is also on the line-up for the Isle of Wight Festival this year.
She will perform in a special girls’ night on the Big Top stage, alongside Bananarama, Ladyhawke, The Noisettes, Beverley Knight, Eddi Reader and Pixie Lott.
