TRACKDAYS are all the rage – the opportunity to unleash the performance of your road car and hone your driving skills.

Now historic Goodwood Motor Circuit is moving that up a level this month to settle the age-old dispute between the sexes: which are the better drivers?

On the late May bank holiday Monday (May 25) the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit aims to finally settle that age-old dispute between the sexes; which are the better drivers? A male/female ‘team’ of husband and wife, partners or friends will now be able to put their driving skills to the test on the circuit to settle the ongoing dispute and put an end to all those squabbles over who is the better driver.

Who knows, this track day may well lay to rest what I know to be the myth about women drivers!

Using their own vehicles, a male/female pairing can drive around the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit, home to the Goodwood Revival being staged on September 18-21, for this special one-off track day.

The fast fems get to drive around the Goodwood circuit in the morning and then, after lunch, it’s the turn of the fellas.

A full team of qualified instructors – of both sexes, naturally – will be on hand to provide expert advice and tuition while on the track.

The total cost per couple for the day, including breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, is £360, and places will be limited on a first-come, firstserved basis.

All participants for this unique His and Hers track day will also receive a preferable rate on bed & breakfast bookings for the Sunday evening at the Goodwood Hotel, which forms part of the 13,000-acre Goodwood Estate in the picturesque South Downs.

Pairings can secure their place on this event by contacting the Goodwood Motor Circuit office by calling 01243 755060 or email trackdays@ goodwood.co.uk.
