HAMPSHIRE schoolchildren have been exploring Southampton’s maritime history through art.
Around 40 pupils from two of the city’s schools have been working on poetry, drama and film projects since September.
The Navigating Learning project involved Year 4 children from Weston Park Junior School and Years 7, 8 and 9 from Chamberlayne College of the Arts.
The students celebrated finishing the project by showcasing their projects based on the city’s docks at Weston Park. Today the pupils involved will board Cunard’s Queen Victoria cruise ship for a guided tour.
