STUDENTS at a Hampshire college went green to raise money in memory of their friend who died suddenly from an asthma attack.
Donning bright lime wigs and fancy dress, teenagers at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh marked World Asthma Day by remembering Daniel Jolly who died at his home in Bursledon in March.
A total of £300 was raised on the day and will go towards buying a plaque in honour of the 17-year-old, which will go up in the college’s music department.
Keen musician Daniel who was studying A-levels in law, business and music technology, had been offered a place to study at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey.
