THEIR names are synonymous with helping gardeners beat off pests and diseases to grow the best vegetables, flowers, shrubs and trees.

Gardening experts, pictured from left, Anne Swithinbank, Bob Flowerdew (in tree), John Cushnie, Eric Robson, Rosie Yeomans, Chris Beardshaw, Bunny Guinness, Pippa Greenwood and Matthew Biggs all came to Sparsholt College, Winchester, to record two editions of Gardeners’ Question Time.

It was the first time the whole panel was together in 15 years. The shows will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on June 12 and July 24.
