FIREFIGHTERS spent about four hours tackling a blaze at the disused former Meridian TV studios in Southampton early today.
Two crews from St Mary's fire station were called to the scene near the Northam Bridge shortly before 4am after a large stack of wood and other rubbish was seen on fire.
Three jets were used to extinguish the flames and no one was injured.
It is thought the blaze was started deliberately.
