A YOUNG swimmer who has dreams of being an Olympic champion has been forced out of the pool after thieves stole her training kit worth hundreds of pounds.
Kimberly Wright,10, who swims for the City of Southampton Swimming Club, had her swimming kit stolen from the changing rooms of the Quays Swimming Centre.
The kit, including a brand new pair of goggles, competition cap, floats, training snorkel, swimsuit and purse was worth £200 in total.
The theft happened on Monday evening between 5.45pm and 5.55pm. Anyone with any information should call police on 0845 045 45 45.
