POLICE were called to an 18th birthday party after more than 100 youths started acting in an anti-social manner.
Residents in Heatherstone Avenue, Dibden Purlieu, made a flood of calls to the police after the party got out of hand last Saturday at 11.45pm.
According to police, more than 150 youths attended the party.
A police spokesman said some of the youths were urinating in public.
He added: "Police seized a number of containers of alcohol and an 18-year-old from Dibden Purlieu was given a fixed penalty notice for public order offences."
Inspector Kevin Leckey, said: “Adults who host parties for their children’s 18th birthday have a responsibility for the behaviour of their guests, both at the party and when they leave to go home.
“Underage drinking and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in Hythe and the surrounding areas.”
