The first pint has been pulled at The Saints pub in Millbrook after it reopened following a £20,000 facelift.
Sue Watson, 46, who is terminally ill with cancer, was at the bar with ex Saint Steve Baker and, pictured from left to right, Paul Osborne, Rob Wickens, and Alan Moody to mark the occasion.
The pub, which was taken over by Southampton-based Wickbourne Homes, features in the Saints 1976 FA Cup winning bus tour.
Sue said: “It’s great that the pub has reopened and back in the community.
It means a lot to people around here.” Wickborne Homes pledged that 5p from every drink served would go to Cancer Research UK.
A total of £1,166 was raised.
