FIREFIGHTERS were called to a rooftop drama at a school for problem pupils.
A boy had to be rescued after climbing out of a dormer window on the third floor of Coxlease School in Clay Hill, Lyndhurst.
Unable to get back inside he is understood to have been standing or sitting on the roof when firefighters arrived and a ladder was used to rescue the pupil, who was unhurt.
A police spokesman said it followed an incident several weeks ago in which another boy got on to the roof and started hurling tiles to the ground.
Police were not called to the latest drama on Tuesday night.
A school spokesman, who refused to gfive details of the pupils involved, said: “There have been two separate incidents at the school involving minors, which were resolved swiftly.”
Coxlease is a private school that provides specialist educational and residential care for boys aged nine-18 with behavioural and emotional problems.
