SECOND WORLD WAR evacuees strolled the streets of Shirley in Southampton yesterday.
The youngsters were in fact Year 4 pupils from Holybrook Junior school learning about life for evacuees during the war.
The eight-and nine-year-olds walked from their school in Seagarth Lane to St James’ Church Hall where they heard from people who had lived through the war as youngsters.
