A MAN accused of driving a Rolls-Royce through a Hampshire supermarket window was remanded in custody by magistrates today.
Robert Caton, 50, of Cusden Drive, Andover, allegedly drove the Silver Spirit luxury car through the window of Tesco in River Way, Andover, on Wednesday.
He is charged with criminal damage while being reckless as to whether life was being endangered, dangerous driving and failing to give a specimen.
Bearded Caton, who was flanked by two security guards, spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during the five-minute hearing.
Basingstoke magistrates adjourned the case for a preliminary hearing at Winchester Crown Court on June 5.
No pleas were entered and there was no application for bail.
