ESTHER Rantzen has confirmed she will "definitely" stand as an MP for Luton South - but only if the current MP stands.
The I'm a Celebrity and That's Life star, 68, said she would stand against Margaret Moran after it was revealed she claimed £22,500 for treating dry rot at her home in St Denys, Southampton, 100 miles from her constituency.
Ms Rantzen, who lives in the New Forest, reportedly said this morning: "If Margaret Moran stays the MP for Luton and stands at the next election I will definitely stand against her."
Ms Moran, who said she claimed the money in order to have a "proper family life", has since repaid the £22,500.
