A 24-year-old man was struck to the ground and robbed as he walked home from the pub in a Hampshire village.
Police have just released details of the incident which happened near to Shorts Road, Fair Oak at about half past midnight on Saturday.
The victim had been making his way home from The Cricketers Arms when a red Ford Fiesta carrying up to five people pulled alongside them.
Words were said to the two men before the car drove off towards Eastleigh Road, Fair Oak.
Moments later the 24-year-old, who lives locally, was struck from behind and fell to the ground where he was robbed of his wallet containing £25.
The man suffered minor injuries.
Police are keen to trace the people inside the car and are urging them to call on 0845 045 4545.
