A 27-year-old woman was arrested for murder today after a man fell from the roof of a four-storey building.
The 24-year-old man, from Gosport, Hants, died after he fell from the building in Waverley Road, Portsmouth, at about 3am today.
Detective Inspector Darren Rawlings, of Hampshire police, said: ''We'd like to hear from anyone in the area who saw or heard two people on the roof in the early hours of the morning.
''We are carrying out a number of enquiries in the area to establish what happened, including speaking to residents.
''A Home Office post mortem examination of the man's body will be carried out today.''
A 27-year-old woman from Southsea was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently being questioned, according to a police spokeswoman.
