A JUDGE issued a stern warning to a Romsey carpenter who breached a suspended sentence order: “If you come before me again, you will go inside”.
Judge John Boggis QC delivered the warning to Christopher Rutherford who, under the terms of a six-month suspended sentence imposed at Southampton Crown Court in November, had to carry out 180 hours community service.
The judge heard that although Rutherford had completed almost 150 hours, he then missed two appointments because he put his work first when it started to pick up.
Rutherford, 34, of Burma Road, Romsey, was ordered to do another 20 hours and pay £100 costs.
