TRAINING films made by a keen group of media students are of such a high standard they are playing around the clock at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service’s headquarters.
Teenagers from Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh injected their enthusiasm and flair into a series of videos and adverts designed to encourage firefighters to get back in the classroom.
Students Emma Barney, Sarah Taylor, Sophia Kian, Ryan Foster, Josh Raines and Ian Glendinning, pictured, all gave up their free time to do work experience and hone their skills over a six-week period.
Armed with notepads, cameras and video equipment the teens were tasked with creating footage that would show those in the service what additional training courses were on offer.
What they produced was so impressive the fire service media team decided to promote what could have been a simple college project to grade A material and started playing it on a loop at its Eastleigh headquarters.
Their work will also be used for future projects.
