A woman is celebrating after finding a ring she thought she had lost nearly ten years ago.
Isobel Pinder said when she first lost the Scottish pinky ring – on water meadows near Easton in Winchester – metal detectors were brought in to try and locate it. They were unsuccessful on that occasion but they returned recently and miraculously found it.
She said: “I couldn’t believe my luck and the ring is none the worse for ten years of trampling by cows!”
