A 3m high walkthrough woven cloth has won a Hampshire textiles lecturer a coveted spot to showcase her work at a world class exhibit.
Ismini Samanidou, pictured, a textile designer and artist at the University of Southampton’s Winchester School of Art has been chosen for display at the Jerwood Contemporary Makers Exhibition in London from June 10.
Her piece was so large it had to be woven on a special industrial-sized giant loom in America.
