HAMPSHIRE high-flyer Kate Walsh has stormed into the all-girl final of The Apprentice.
The 27-year-old Licensing Development Manager from Alresford, pictured left when told she had made the final, will go head to head with Yasmina Siadatan after contestants James McQuillan, Lorraine Tighe and Debra Barr all got the boot from the show last night.
Having survived ten weeks of business tasks, the pair survived their toughest test yet on last night’s programme – the interviews.
The final task on Sunday will see Sir Alan Sugar, right, decide who will walk away with a six-figure salary and a place in his business empire.
In the second all-girl final of the past five series, the finalists must design and manufacture a new box of chocolates.
Aided by a team of previously-fired candidates, the remaining contenders must impress with the conception, creation and presentation of their product.
They will invent a brand identity, position it in a competitive market, design a poster and direct a television advert, before presenting their prototypes to a room full of industry experts as well as Sir Alan himself.
Sir Alan said the two finalists were “the best we’ve ever had”.
Kate said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be in the final and I just hope I can go all the way.”
