FOUR young men are in hospital today after 24 hours of knife attacks on the streets of Southampton.
Two men are in a serious condition after being repeatedly stabbed just hours after another two men were knifed in the street yards just away.
Police said they could not rule out the possibility of the attacks being linked.
Yesterday specialist officers sealed off streets in Northam in the hunt for clues.
The drama began when officers were called to an area near the forecourt of the High Q garage, in Parsonage Road, Northam, following a 999 call from a member of the public in the early hours of Saturday.
Then in the early hours of Sunday police got another call out to a stabbing in nearby Six Dials where a third man, in his 20s, had been repeatedly stabbed but managed to phone for an ambulance.
As police were at Southampton General Hospital another man staggered in with a number of knife wounds.
