ANGLERS hope to reel in thousands of pounds for the Haitian earthquake survivors during a 24-hour charity fishing match this weekend.
Owners of Romsey’s Broadlands Lakes Debbie and Peter Beale are staging the fundraiser which starts at noon tomorrow.
Originally the cost to take part was £50 but it has now been reduced to £30 to make it more affordable. Debbie said: “We’d like to raise as much money as possible through the match and a raffle.” Prizes will be awarded. Anyone who is interested in taking part is asked to call Debbie or Peter on 023 8086 9881 or 07967076049.
