TRAIN services in Hampshire were disrupted this morning after a lorry crashed into a bridge over a railway line.
Passengers experienced a 20-minute delay after the accident occurred on the B3055 road between Sway and Brockenhurst.
A police spokesman said the collision resulted in only minor damage to the lorry.
He added that the bridge at Latchmoor Corner appeared to be unscathed but would be inspected by engineers as a precaution.
A passenger on a Bournemouth to London train said: "We stopped at New Milton for 20 minutes and were told that a vehicle had gone into a bridge in Brockenhurst.
"Everything is running late as a result of the collision."
