PLANS for a million-pound revamp of a multi-storey car park in a Hampshire town have moved one step closer to becoming a reality.
Eastleigh Borough Council’s Cabinet voted in favour of the refurbishment for the 30-year-old building between Southampton Road and Mitchell Road in the town centre.
Civic chiefs want to breathe new life into the 13-storey structure, with a CCTV upgrade, hi-tech ticketing technology, new lighting and resurfacing.
The plans will now go before Full Council on February 22 for a final decision.
