Dragons and lions are set to parade through the heart of Southampton.
The parade is part of the celebrations for Chinese New Year this Sunday with a number of events planned for the big day.
Festivities will start at 11am as the Mayor of Southampton, Councillor Liz Mizon, performs the traditional ceremony of “dim jing” at the Civic Centre.
Live footage of the event, which will also see martial arts displays and dancing dragons, unicorns and lions, will be streamed on screens in the Civic Centre car park.
The dragon parade will then make its way to the historic Bargate monument in the city centre where there will be a short performance.
