DRUNKEN yobs left a trail of damage in a Hampshire town.
They caused hundreds of pounds of damage during the vandalism spree across an area of Romsey.
The youths damaged cars, gardens and other property as they made their way along three streets in the town.
Police have now issued an appeal to help track the youngsters down.
A string of antisocial behaviour incidents happened in Woodley Lane, Woodley Close and Mercer Way.
Wing mirrors were snapped off a Vauxhall Corsa and a Vauxhall Antara parked at Woodley Lane while one youth climbed over the bonnet of one car and the roof of another.
Trees and shrubs were also pulled from the soil and thrown around a drive at another property in the same street while further along the road wall pillars were attacked and fence panels smashed.
Later on Saturday night, in nearby Mercer Way, the rear panel of a parked Saab car was also dented.
Police say gangs of youths were spotted drinking booze and acting in what they described as an “antisocial” manner in the children’s play area at Woodley Close at about 11.30pm.
A spokesman added: “If anyone knows who these youths were or knows anything about these incidents, they should get in touch with the police.”
