A TEENAGER was left with a broken ankle after he was hit by a van that failed to stop.
The 15-year-old was walking from Angel Crescent on to the off-slip of Maybray King Way in Bitterne, Southampton, when he was struck by the van at around 8.15pm on Friday.
He was taken by ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries to his leg but was later released.
Police are now appealing for information about the van, which is described as possibly red and silver in colour.
