A HAMPSHIRE student got into a right jam when her car became wedged between two buses.
It is thought the woman had been overtaking one bus when the other was in collision with her Ford Ka.
The driver, believed to be from Eastleigh, was trapped inside her vehicle until passers-by managed to get her out through the boot.
Her car was jammed between a double-decker Yellow Bus and single-decker Wilts and Dorset vehicle yesterday lunchtime.
Eyewitness Darren White, 40, was working in a nearby shop when he heard the smash in Wimborne Road, Bournemouth.
He told the Daily Echo how he and colleague Lee Jeff had gone out to offer assistance along with their boss Andy Lee, who helped direct traffic until police arrived.
Darren said: “People were getting off one of the buses but no one was helping the woman driver who was trapped inside her car.
“She managed to get the keys out of the ignition and hand them to us so we were able to open the boot and help her out.
“She was a bit shaken but not injured. Considering how small her car was compared with the buses, she was very lucky to have escaped unhurt.”
The woman was taken home by her father. Her car was badly damaged.
