WINCHESTER City Council continues to struggle to let its properties in the recession.
Discussions over Avalon House, the former planning department on Chesil Street, are still ongoing. The council wants £226,000 annual rent for the building.
No interest has been expressed for the Barn Stores, Chaundler Road, Abbotts Barton. The council is looking for annual rent of £9,500.
Hyde House and Barn on Hyde Street is still unsold although it has been temporarily let to Design Engine at a rent of £15,000 per annum.
There is good news over the former Autowise shop in Upper Brook Street. A new lease is due to be signed by late March.
