GRAHAM Smith from Alresford is going behind the scenes at one of Britain’s largest companies.
He is one of 20 customers chosen by British Gas to inspect the firm and report his findings.
He has already visited a call centre in Wales and his schedule also includes a power station near Plymouth, a logistics depot near Leicester and a Scottish wind farm.
He will also visit the company’s HQ in Staines and spend time with a service engineer on their rounds.
Mr Smith,62, volunteered for the programme, which lasts several months, after spotting an advert.
The firm, which services the boiler at his home in Jacklyns Lane, asked him a few questions before signing him up.
The 62-year-old used to work for the Central Electricity Generating Board and also in the logistics industry.
