HAMPSHIRE teenagers have reached new heights in self-confidence thanks to a cash boost from Southampton Airport.
Funding from the BAA Communities Trust has seen more than 120 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds dive into action as part of Fairbridge Solent’s Live Well Project.
From climbing, to canoeing and cooking, the sessions are designed to grow their self-confidence, develop team building skills and learn how to live independently.
Debbie Chalk, from the airport, said: “It’s been fantastic to see the progress in these young people during this year. They have developed into confident young people who are able to work both in teams and individually.”
