FRIDAY night will be ladies’ night at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival as an eclectic mix of female artists will storm the Big Top on June 11.

Legendary artists and innovative newcomers including Suzi Quatro, Juliette Lewis, Marina and the Diamonds, Mini Viva, Wom4n and I Blame Coco will join together to raise the roof of the Big Top and get the Isle of Wight rocking.

Rock icon Suzi Quatro will headline the ultimate girls’ night out along with the indomitable Juliette Lewis, current favourite Marina and the Diamonds, uber cool Mini Viva and Shakespears Sister, fronted by Siobhan Fahey, will all play along with upcoming new acts Wom4n, Daisy Dares You and I Blame Coco.

Suzi Quatro is a force to be reckoned with; with over two decades of world-wide chart success behind her along with an acclaimed career as an actress, playwright and presenter, Suzi has taken her rightful place as one of the world’s most exceptional talents and is sure to get the Big Top singing along.

After emerging with a bang in 2004 as a hugely successful musician Juliette Lewis released her third album last year entitled Terra Incognita - unveiling a new and exciting sound. Renowned for her stage presence, the Big Top crowds will experience Lewis’ punk rock attitude at its best.

Sensation in waiting Marina Diamond is currently enjoying chart success and critical acclaim with her debut album The Family Jewels.

Shakespears Sister was formed in 1988 by ex Bananarama singer songwriter Siobhan Fahey and, along with Marcella Detroit, enjoyed massive success with worldwide hits including Stay and You’re History.

Next on the bill are Frankee and Britt who make up the duo Mini Viva. They are the smartest pop darlings to rollerblade onto the catwalk of big, brash and British girl-pop excess.

Also taking to the stage on the night are new supergroup Wom4n. The four girls, Mazz Murray, Gina Murray, AJ Casey and Emma Kershaw are among the finest singers and musicians in the country and give much loved rock songs a female touch.

Fifteen-year-old Daisy Coburn, better known as Daisy Dares You is widely tipped as the UK’s answer to Avril Lavigne. Daisy is hailed as the next big thing in 2010 thanks to her unique brand of exuberant pop rock.

I Blame Coco, fronted by Coco Sumner, are about to drop one of the finest debuts of 2010, The Constant.
