A SOUTHAMPTON woman has died after collapsing at a party which is now at the centre of a drugs investigation.

Lindsey Wilson’s life support machine was switched off 19 days after the house party. Lindsey, 28, was found unconscious on January 19 in the same flat in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, as 18-year-old Ben Walters, who died at the scene.

Lindsey’s parents, Bob and Sue Wilson, who live in Maidenhead, Berkshire, last night paid tribute to their “beautiful and talented” daughter.

“Lindsey was a talented and popular young woman with her whole life ahead of her. We are devastated and are trying to come to terms with what has happened,” a statement said.

“Lindsey will be missed so much by everyone who knew her particularly by her two older brothers Mark and Steven who loved her dearly. She sadly lost her three week fight for life on Sunday while surrounded by her family.”

Hertfordshire Police said the cause of death had yet to be confirmed.
