The Daily Echo’s teenage Models posed as live mannequins in the windows of New Look, Westquay, Southampton, yesterday.
Hundreds of shoppers stopped to see the twelve local teenagers, who are all part of the Daily Echo’s ‘Out There’ model team.
Valerie Butler of New Look styled the models’ outfits, with make up by Solent University students led by Hannah Perry and wigs supplied by Just For Fun of Hedge End Kimberley Smart, who choreographs the ‘Out There’ model events said, “ The Daily Echo are giving local teenagers a wonderful opportunity to model for national retailers at some of the biggest venues in the area. It’s a great introduction to fashion styling and make up, it’s non-competitive, builds confidence and most importantly, it’s fun!”
