THREE youths - including two schoolgirls - have been charged with inflicting grievous injuries and sexually assaulting a woman who they allegedly held against her will.
The girls aged 14 and 15 and the boy aged 17 were charged by police last night after being questioned by detectives.
All three were arrested on Wednesday during a series of warrants executed by officers investigating the alleged false imprisonment of a 23-year-old woman.
The trio, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were due before Southampton Youth Court this morning charged with false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and forcing a woman to engage in sexual activity against her will.
The boy also faces a further charge of robbery.
As reported, the woman called police after escaping the property in the Newtown/Nicholstown area of Southampton on Tuesday February 9. She was found with a burn mark to her face and her hair had been cut, in some parts to her scalp.
A 38-year-old man arrested last week in connection with the incident remains on police bail.
