VITAL supplies needed to help rebuild earthquake-hit Haiti have arrived from Hampshire.
The Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship Largs Bay has made it safely to the devastated country, ready to unload essential aid needed by the survivors of the devastated country.
The 16,160-tonne ship set sail from the Sea Mounting Centre at Marchwood more than three-weeks ago, to deliver bulky items that were not suitable to be flown across.
Her cargo includes 5,700 sheets of corrugated iron to build much-needed shelters, 40 vehicles and 15 containers of general stores.
The ship's crew are preparing to unload all the cargo tomorrow morning.
