A PENSIONER has died after his motorcycle was involved in an accident on a Hampshire road.
The 72-year-old Southampton man was riding from Corhampton towards Bishops Waltham at about 1.20pm today when he was in collision with the rear of a silver Mercedes car which was stationary and waiting to turn.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mercedes driver, a 48-year-old Fareham woman was not injured.
Part of the police investigation will be to determine whether the motorcyclist suffered a medical episode prior to the collision.
Officers from the Cosham Roads Policing Unit want to hear from anyone who saw the black Honda 500cc motorcycle as it was travelling from Corhampton towards Bishops Waltham prior to the collision.
