YOUNGSTERS with disabilities were stars for the day as they cut the ribbon to launch a new £300,000 supermarket.
Pupils from Springwell School, Thornhill, Southampton, received a donation of £200 from Co-operative to mark the re-launch of its John’s Road, Woolston, branch. Manager Angela Lewry said: “As a community retailer it’s appropriate we involve the community in our events. We are delighted our local school could play a role in the re-launch.”
