A HAMPSHIRE man who had not been seen for nearly four months was found dead in his bed.

Southampton Coroner’s Court heard Surinder Singh Sidhu’s body was found by police at his home in Bitterne on January 25.

The court heard Mr Sidhu “kept himself to himself ” and had last been seen by his brother Rajinder at the start of October.

PC Aaron Shale told the court Mr Sidhu’s body was badly decomposed, suggesting he had been dead for some time.

Pathologist Eleanor Jaynes said Mr Sidhu had been severely underweight and the cause of death had been tuberculosis.

Coroner Gordon Denson said the 63-yearold of Ashburnam Close died of natural causes.
