HE’S been playing Find the Ball in the Daily Echo for 12 years – and has just landed his biggest win.
Delighted Brian Hoar, 73, is this week’s runner-up winner scooping £1,650. The retired Pirelli Cables machine operator of Warburton Road, Thornhill, Southampton, is to split his winnings with his brother Colin.
Widower Mr Hoar, who keeps caged birds, said: “Up until now I have only won £15 prizes so I am really delighted. I will spend the money on bits and bobs around the house.”
